🏆 End-of-Term or End-of-Year Banqer Awards

A fantastic way to maintain motivation is by hosting a class awards ceremony based on students’ Banqer activity. Use your classroom leaderboards to spotlight top performers in categories such as:

Savings - KiwiSaver/Superannuation - Net Worth - Achievements - Stock Exchange - Property

We have created some super fun certificates based on the Leaderboard categories that you can download and print out to present to your class, or feel free to get creative creating your own.

To access the Banqer designed certificates, you will find them here for NZ based classrooms, and here for AU classrooms

Banqer also provides downloadable certificates at the end of your programme, which can be used to celebrate every student’s participation and progress. These will be available from your Teacher Dashboard once your class has wrapped up.

🤔 Class Discussion

Get students as a class, individually or in pairs, reflect on what they have learned. They could reflect on the following questions:

  • Do they feel more confident talking about money now?

  • Have they already had conversations with friends or family about money?

  • Have they started to save money?

âť“ Run a Class Quiz

Wrap things up with some friendly competition! Use our ready-made Banqer quiz (or design your own) to test what students have learned during their time on the platform. This is a fun, interactive way to review key concepts and spark discussion.

đź’¬ Reflection Activities

Reflection is a powerful way to embed learning. Encourage students to look back on their Banqer journey by creating either a written reflection or a visual poster. They can work individually or collaborate in groups.

Here are some prompts to guide the reflection:

  • What financial decisions did you make, and would you make them again?

  • What is your Banqer persona (Saver, Splurger, Balancer, Active Investor, Conscious Consumer)?

  • Do you feel this persona fits you, and is this how you'd like to continue to behave?

  • What key lessons are you taking away from using Banqer?

  • If you could do one thing to improve your financial future, what would it be?

This activity helps students develop self-awareness and consolidate the skills they've built over the term or year.
